Snuggle Nightmare – Developer Prototype
A downloadable game for Windows
An experimental developer prototype of an upcoming indie horror game.
Snuggle Nightmare is a horror, stealth, and puzzle experience set in a mysterious and abandoned theme park.
This build is an early developer prototype, originally created for testing mechanics and experimenting with gameplay systems. It does not represent the final quality or full experience of the game.
In this prototype, you will explore a small section inspired by Brain World Rots, a strange theme park filled with unsettling animatronics and hidden secrets.
What to expect:
- Basic mechanics and interactions
- Early AI behavior
- Minimal visuals and placeholder elements
- Bugs, glitches, and unfinished systems
The final game will feature a deeper story, larger environments, polished visuals, and much more advanced AI systems.
If you’re interested in the project, consider wishlisting Snuggle Nightmare on Steam to follow development.

Beyond the huge diffrence from the trailer. By any chance is the whole game going to be created by AI?
The big difference with the trailer is because, as it clearly says in the title and in several places, this is an internal prototype build.
This version doesn't even reach the level of a demo. Normally builds like this are never released publicly. I only shared it so people who are interested in the project could try something early and see how the idea is evolving.
It does not represent the final game or the quality of the final experience.
Also, the game is not created with AI. Both the prototype and the final game are being developed by me — a single developer who has been working on this project for months.
Thanks for the response. I wanted to ask if you plan to use AI or currently using AI?
Thanks for playing the prototype and for taking the time to comment. I understand your question better now, so thanks for clarifying.
The only place where I used AI was for the main cover image, since as a solo developer I couldn't afford to commission artwork at the moment. For the final release, I would really like to work with an artist to create a proper final cover.
Aside from that, everything else in the game — including the code and development — has been made by me.
And sorry for the misunderstanding earlier, I had interpreted your question differently. Thanks again for your interest in the project!
